Superpluck club series I–IV
including contemporary music premiers during 2022–2024
The series have introduced Finnish and Japanese contemporary music, composers, musicians, discussions and live encounters in Helsinki area (Music House, Lallukka, Hietsu Pavilion and Helsinki University Language Center Hall) also featuring visiting guest musicians like flutist Camilla Hoitenga and sanshin master Masaya Yamauchi in 2023.
Every club has included several premiers, interviews etc.
The visiting composers have included Akira Kobayashi, Juha T. Koskinen, Osmo Tapio Räihälä, Mioko Yokoyama, Kazumi Tsukamoto, Rica Narimoto, Asta Hyvärinen, and Yoiko Mukai among others.
The coordination has been organized by Superpluck series with the financial support of SKR, Taike and Sasakawa foundations.
